March 30th, 2006.

11.54pm

Just watched the "Icon People" video, for D&D, again. "Haha!" I think it is a very good idea to produce this video. I believe it touched a lot of the year 3s who watched it. Thinking back, looking at everything that we had done and had not done, I am going to miss D&D. Everything about it. Really going to miss all of it.

Although there were a few hiccups here and there throughout the event, everything went on smoothly. Everything turn out more or less the same as what we planned. From most of the feedback I have got, a lot of people like it! Glad that we, the D&D family, can be of help! For the past 6 months, everything and anything was about D&D. Now I feel very relieve and very relax. Suddenly feel very empty and thinks that I am very "no life" for the past 6 months. "Haha!"

Something for all you people out there, "Good things are hard to come by, and hardly come back." So enjoy and do everything like it is your last. I do and I do not regret having to stay for 1 more year in TP. Just do not know how to tell my mum. *wonders* Never mind. That is for me to worry. So, Good Night Singapore! And YeePing and Stefinity really do look like naked. *grins*

March 29th, 2006.

2.06am

4 more hours till wake up time. 9 more hours till set up time. 16 more hours till actual start of D&D. 24 hours till pack up time. Tones of things still undone, or at least seems to be. Hope everything will be fine. *cross fingers*

Everything is going well. We are at our 21st table already. We means D&D is a sell out! "Haha!". And there are still a lot of people who wants to buy tickets. *wonders*

Ok! Enough! I still have tones to do. Or at least some sleep. And I have not done my speech. "Argh!" Picture of the Day: D&D committee - Deep at work. Good Night Singapore!

March 26th, 2006.

4.34am

Yesterday did a setup for Mark Richmond and Beatrice Chia's wedding. Today was the show. Quite cool. I think it costed quite a bit to host 25 tables. It was at Changi Fairy Point 7! The yard outside had a transparent tentage set up. 10 over units of air conditions. It was terrible to set up as inside the tentage without the air-con on, was a killer. But I can guess why is it a place ideal to both of them for the wedding. The place is cool. Big enough. And the sunset was breath-taking...

Something came to my mind when they were doing their solemnization. Do all these words come up to people who said them 10 years, 20 years down the road? For Mark, this is the second time. Did he not said these similar set of words before? Do they not mean anything to him now? How about people out there? Throughout the duration of the wedding, I think most of the people there really enjoy themselves. With all the people from both Singapore's radio and theatre present. And with one of the most gorgeous wedding crowd. Who would not? The performances were cool. Everything, especially the whole concept, was right on the spot. Wonder how my wedding will be like? *scratches head* grins*

To add on the gorgeous crowd, guess who were present? *grins* Jamie Yeo, Jamie Teo, Jean Danker etc. Cool right? And Jamie Teo was sitting at the table right in front of me. "Haha!" although with Daniel Ong. *pouts* Today there are 2 Picture of the Day! This is to apologise to all my avid readers out there! One is of how the "ballroom" looks like, and the other is the glorious sunset! Enjoy and Good Night Singapore!

2.26am

Nowadays, everyone in the D&D committee found out that, everything they say revolve around D&D! They say anything and everything also can lead to D&D. Even in their sleep, they have dreams (or nightmare) about D&D! Glad that this event is so dear to their hearts. Anyway, I am blogging about D&D now! See what I mean.

Still feeling funny. "Haiz" Anyway, today's Picture of the Day is Yee Ping! One of my D&D Main Committee member. Best Friend leh. "Haha!" Good Night Singapore!

March 23th, 2006.

1.22am

Could not bring myself to blog these past few days. Do not feel like it. Sorry to all my dear avid readers. "Haha!" Feeling kind of bad. "Emo" again. Very. PMS? "Haha..."

D&D is going to end next week. It was just like yesterday when Guang and me was writing the memo for it. After nearly six months of planning, all of these, comes down to about five hours of show time. It is really incredible. You need to be in it, to feel it. All these are going to end. Very soon. Next week. Both glad and sad about it. Glad because the fruit of our labour is going to show and it is ending. "Phew!" Sad also because it is ending and I will really miss the whole committee.

Anyway, do not know what to do and feel nowadays. Feeling funny. "Haiz" So, Good Night Singapore and enjoy the picture of the day. They are some of the mascots for the D&D.

12.55am

Back from Sentosa today. Had fun.

Today had a talk with Yeeping. *wonders* again...

I do not believe in controlling one's girlfriend too much. Actions which will affect one's personal growth. At this age, this kind of thing will affect the future of the girl. Are you going to walk down the red carpet with her one day? Are you going to feed her for her rest of her life? Can you bear the responsibility of her not getting a job in the future?

Alright. Enough talk. Going to wash up and going to get some sleep. Later going to my Ah Ma's. Going to fun. Will be seeing my two baby cousins! And giving out souvenirs! Today's picture is also one I took in Hong Kong. So, Good Night Singapore.

11.59am

Back from a boring day. Nothing much to blog. 'Emo' again. Do not know why.

Good Night Singapore! Here is another picture taken at Hong Kong. Enjoy.

March 13th to 17th, 2006.

March 14th, 2006.

12.05am

Arrived Hong Kong at about 10am in the morning. And what a lucky day! Just today, the temperature falls to around 12 degrees. The first thing we went to do was to buy some sweaters and jackets. I brought mine along, so I was the one not doing the shopping.

Staying at the Empire Hotel Kowloon. It is in Hong Kong's Tsim Sha Tsui area. The surroundings are very bustling with life. Everything is very packed and people are about, doing there own stuff. Today we covered the whole area and even took the MTR to Central District, which is located on Hong Kong Island (Yes, all along I was in Kowloon. And yes, they are separated by the sea). The first thing that came to my mind was that of Shenton Way back home. The skyscrapers are really huge! Actually all the buildings in Hong Kong are very tall and big. Maybe because of the huge population. Anyway the reason we went to Hong Kong Island was to go The Peak! And oh yes! The view was breath-taking. Too bad it rained. We could not stay longer as the cold was almost unbearable to stay outdoors. And of course the Peak Tram trip to and fro was an one-in-a-lifetime kind of experience. It was so steep that I thought I was going to slide all the way down! It is an almost 45 degrees slope! And there is a Hard Rock Cafe at The Peak as well!

And since off the plane, I was looking for Curry Fish Egg (This is a direct translation). All of us could not see it anywhere. Although we saw some stalls with signs of it, but they do not look very good. I will be having my morning call at 6.45am, which is about... 6 hours from now. My little brother has already gone and most probably dreaming of all the pretty Hong Kong girls. *grins* I guess I better get some rest too. We will be having a long day ahead. Starting with dim sum breakfast! "Haha!" And I hope I can get to see the "A Symphony of Light", which is rated by the Guinness World record as the "World Largest Permanent Light and Sound Show." One of the best view that one can get is from the "Avenue of Stars", which is another must-go. "Argh!" So many places to go, and so little time. And so the search for the Curry Fish Egg continues...

March 15th, 2006.

12.40am

Now in my parents' room. My dad has been shooed off to my room to sleep with my brother. So today the two of them will be performing a symphony, mainly by the sound call, snore. *grins* My mummy is a very light sleeper.

Today we went to have dim sum for breakfast. It is as the HK movies, the old people covered the whole restaurant. It was ok, not really fantastic. Carried on to have a half-day city tour, which is to say, visit some factories and manufacturing firms. *Bored* We had a very traditional lunch of "pun choi". It is a BIG basin, full of mixed food.

Finally got to the Hong Kong Ocean Park. It was kinda of ok, if not for the number of China people. They are so uncultured. I was trying to take some photos, but they are so... "Argh". Both the Shark Aquarium & Atoll Reef (Aquarium) was amazing. The information and displays are fantastic. But if one do not know, they would have thought there was going to some World Business Meeting or something, with all the coats, typical dressing and noise created by the mainland people around. There must be more mainland people than the nat...

March 16th, 2006.

12.55am

I end the last entry such a way is because I had dozed off. *grins* I was trying to say that there must be more mainland people than the native Hong Kongers.

It is the same case when we went to DisneyLand Hong Kong. Although today's amount of mainland people are not as frightening as yesterday's. We started the day early, at about 7.30am. We went for breakfast and took the MTR (Hong Kong's version of our MRT) to DisneyLand. We planned to dedicate the whole day for it! It was amazing! It was our first experience with DisneyLand. The whole place, although not as big as I thought, was... magical! "Haha!" Even the train looks nice. It had Mickey windows, Mickey hand holds, statutes of Disney characters, cushion seats and... I am not going to tell all of you people out there how it is like. Cause it is worth the while to go and visit it yourself. No matter your age, relive the child in you for just a day. I would like to visit all the DisneyLand. Go world wide. "Haha!"

Went Temple Street just now. Not very happening. Compared to Ladies Street, which we went yesterday night, it is quite boring. We spent around HK$1000 just in Ladies Street. We brought tones of stuff! Quite happy. *grins*

Actually, I found Hong Kong a place which is very similar to Singapore. There are lots of things which are the same, yet different. Construction works can be seen anywhere. Yet there are lots of buildings that need to be renovated of demolished. I think Hong Kong will be changed in 10 to 20 years' time.

*Yawns* Getting very sleepy. Do not want to doze off. So I think I better end here, while I am still awake. I will be going back to Singapore in a few hours' time.

March 17th, 2006.

2.04am

Finally I am back, Singapore! To all you people out there, I miss all of you. But thinking back, I kind of miss Hong Kong too. It was really fun and refreshing. I really should go back there soon. Anyone who wish to go with me?! *wonders*grins*

Reality check. Back to the present. Now, there are lots of things to be done and to catch up with. *Yawns* Tomorrow going to the Queen E.'s event. Got to go and iron clothes now. Just now went through 44 emails and unpack the stuff. *tired* So see you soon, Singapore. In about 5 hours' time. Good Night! And enjoy the picture I took when I was at The Peak!

March 12th, 2006.

11.02pm

Packing bag now. And watching TV. And replying various SMSes. And thinking about what will go wrong here when I am in HK. *wonders* Parents have been telling me to pack for the past few days. I am a last minute packer kind of guy. There will always be things that need to in at the last minute.

Tuesday got ALP meeting, Wednesday got FOC meeting and Thursday got D&D meeting. People are scolding me about this and telling me not to think about them. To all: "I will TRY!"

Today went to IT Fair and bought two D&D prizes! "Haha!" One of which is a Olympus F-160 camera. It is a 6.0 Megapixels, metal body, 2.8x optical zoom lens, internal memory for recording images etc. And most importantly, this is not the top prize! To get it, simply buy tickets to the TPSU Annual D&D! Contact me if interested. I really sound like a salesman right?

Alright. I really should get back to packing and then get some sleep. Got to wake up at about 4.00am. Maybe I will not get to enter a entry. Hope I can get to enjoy this trip. All of you out there, please take care! You know who I am talking about you! Yes! You! Take Care! Do not make me worry! Special! Special! Today there are two pictures! One is of my new hair cut! And the other is obviously the F-160 camera I am talking about!

So, Singapore! See ya in four days' time.

March 11th, 2006.

3.51am

Just finished bathing. Just came back from town. Thank you, Andrew, for driving me back. Went to the ASC D&D. Then slack in town. Talked. And found out I failed my Major Project. *sad* I will call Dr Lim later to see if there is anything I can do about this. *wonders* Having a meeting at 10am, Raffles Place. Think I better go and catch a few winks, so to minus a few yawns later. "Haha!"

11.59pm

Back from slacking in town. Had the D&D meeting, and went down to Sentosa with Ah Guang. Meet Andrew and Ah Tan there. A lot of people today! Played volleyball. Met some Japanese kids. Had a couple of matches. Had fun! Andrew injured his knee during a dive. It was bleeding like mad. But he was still quite into the Jap girl. "Haha!"

When on the way back to the main island, someone came up and spoke to me while queueing up for the bus. He ask me if I am a CLT. Chatted a bit. Afterwards I felt old. "Haha!"

Dr Lim neither pick up my call nor reply my SMS. "Argh!" Going HK on monday. And D&D, TPSU, etc. Lots of things cannot stop worrying. Quite emo again.

March 9th, 2006.

11.59pm

I am BACK! Sorry Singapore for not been blogging for you people out there this past few days. Had been very busy. About my D&D. Had a chalet at Aranda. I believe all of us had fun. Although most of the time, the cloud of D&D hang over us (its a working chalet), we had lots of hilarious moments to compensate for it. Actually most of my D&D main comm has been telling me about they having nightmares about things going wrong for the event. I am glad that they are all very into making this run smoothly, hope I am not pushing them too hard.

Today, after checking out of the chalet, most of us went back to school. I had the rest to hurry the presentation materials for the presentation to Raymond. Caught some winks. The presentation was terrible. It went on for quite some time, as expected. But on the overall, all Raymond was concerned about was the ticket sales. The rest of the components like program is alright. Took quite a few bullets. But still alive. Barely crawled out of the room.

Went to KBox. Thinks that everyone needs a break and destress. With all the screaming, shouting and people going out of tune, it was actually fun! "Haha!" Do not know why, suddenly got emo again. And come to think of it, everytime I get into the KTV room, I will get the emo feeling. I think it is quite true that, Music is the soul to one's life.

Good Night Singapore. And it is nice to be back.

March 6th, 2006.

11.59pm

As I predicted, today was a killer monday. After all the meetings, all the talks and all the things to be done, everything seems to be to alright.

Something to happened to me again. Uncle Sam wants nominate me to go for the NYAA Singapore-Switzerland Bi-lateral Youth Exchange Programme 2006. There will only be 2 person who will be selected to go. I want to apply, but the period of this trip is on the 20th March to 1st April. And my D&D is on the March 29th. Again..., another chance missed. Missed OBS due to AGM, Missed OCP Yunan due to FOC, now going to miss D&D. *sad*wonders* Am I giving too much for Union? Am I giving up too many chances/opportunities? Can someone tell me?

Today's picture shows Ah Boi reading my IBook, literally. "Haha!" The whole scene was so funny. Good Night Singapore!

March 5th, 2006.

11.59pm

Quite an uneventful day. Woke up early to wake Ah Boi up. He was staying over as he got a show at the Singapore EXPO in the morning. After that, gave Elyn a morning call too. Went back to sleep.

Woke up and went into Operation "Find My Passport". Made the whole family quite pissed, as my passport cannot be found anywhere.

Went to my Ah ma's place. Ah Boi also come over and had dinner. The "Pig Trotters in Vinegar" was a killer! Damm nice. And my auntie's baby is so cute!!! She is only 1 week old. "Argh!" I want a baby. "Haha!"

Went to the Project Pilot's chalet. Quite fun. Caught up with the peeps. Got the DVD and cd of pictures! So fun! :)

Alright. Nothing much. Picture of the day is my auntie holding my baby niece with the her 2 years old sister trying to be kaypoh. "Haha!" Good Night Singapore. Tomorrow is going to be a killer monday. And I need to go back to Operation "Find My Passport" now...

March 4th, 2006.

11.59pm

Today I went to RP Opening, upon invitation of RPSU, with all my ExCos. It was fun. There were dunking stalls, free give aways like door gifts, popcorn, candyfloss, drinks, ice cream and lots other stuff. And there are a lot of sports happening all over the place. Things like floorball, basketball, captain's ball, soccer and others. There were even 2 snake handlers!

Most importantly, the whole idea was to get to know the others. We had the chance to talk and crap together, with Victor entertaining all of us!

After the Opening, some of us went to NTU to support our very own cheerleadering team, TP Blazers, in the competition, "Cheerobics." When we reach there, some of the other TP students from, Bowling, Ruby, Dance, family and friends are already there. Today's number of supporters who went was much better than I thought. But Blazers did not get it. "Never mind! We still love you people anyway!"

Went to Ah Boi's place to do up the internet wireless system for him. Lock, change password etc.

I feel very tired, cannot blog much too. So, Good Night Singapore. By the way, today's picture is on the 2 snakes in RP!

March 3rd, 2006.

12.52pm

Currently on MRT. Going to meet a vendor with Jo and Stefinity. Will be there only as the capacity of an advisor. Time to see how they perform.

Something that keeps me perplexed is when I am walking down the road, there are always people that keep getting the way. It is like driving and changing lanes with without first flash your signal lights. Some way or other, someone will stop in their tracks and look around, or someone might just about turn and go in the opposite direction, or someone will just do a slow motion "Initial D", and drift the the side while SMS-ing. Sometimes I feel like I am like a Mini Cooper, zipping around. Anyway, whenever one is rushing for time, that will be like me, noticing and frustrated about all these small things. I am just whining.

Jo called just now. And I am at lavender now. The meeting time was supposed to be at 1pm. Now it is 1.03pm. So, I am late. I really should go. Continue later...

11.59pm

Today had talk with Ah Boi. Talked about present stuff and future plans. Do not have the mood to blog. So, hope to see how nice Republic Polytechnic is. And today's picture is on my dear grandmother kissing my cute niece. "Haha!" Good Night Singapore.

Friday, March 03, 2006

March 2nd, 2006.

4.45am
Just came back from meeting Ah Boi, Jabie, Sylvia, Eve and their friends. Eugene, Noel and Sylvia drunk. Eve falling asleep. Jabie being is own crazy self. All of them are very funny. The only sane and awake people are Ah Boi and me. We had a talk. Was thinking over our plan. Really need to find one day proper to talk about it.

8.30pm
Currently in YEC meeting. But my mind is on TPSU. Suddenly thought of plans for the next semester. Some plans like workshops for foosball and pool. Or Personal Development Programs (PDPs) like "How to handle stress?", "I am a genius, so are you!" etc. I think I should concentrate on the meeting. Continue later...

11.59pm
Just got back from YEC meeting. Have quite a fair bit of things to be done. I realize it is really different for each and everyone. People expect different things from different people. I can see that in the YEC, there are only a few people who are involve in the discussions. Most of the time, the others only response when they are ask to vote or decide on something.

Today Kyle ask me if he want really wants me to go to the OCP Yunan with him, will I reconsider. My heart say yes but my brain say no. If I go, what will happen to TPSU?

Nah, do not have the mood to blog today. Have tons of things left undone, like emails, DnD details, YEC stuff etc. A bit "emo", again... Do not worry Singapore. Liangteh needs it's own troubled times too. Good Night Singapore.

Thursday, March 02, 2006

March 1st, 2006.

3.54pm

Currently on the bus 23 to town. Going to change to bus 65 later. Feeling very tired and sad suddenly. Do not know why, but feel very relieved to leave school. Today, as usual, was woke up by phone calls. A total of 4 calls today, 3 of which are consecutive. And 7 SMSes too. Since I do not know when, this is the "norm" for most of my mornings. Only once in a blue moon, I can wake up from sleep myself. Lots of people asked me" Why couldn't you turn off your phone." I simply cannot. There might be a call out there that is really important. People tend to be grumpy when they are disturb from their slumber. I do not mind. But today do not seem to be one of my better day.

Today are all packed by last minute appointments. Go to school to sign some documents. I even forgot to do up 2 more payments vouchers that needs to be sign by Adeline. Meet a DnD vendor. Look for Kyle. Look for Lay Guat. Settle on a DnD meeting date on these few days. Now need to go to Wisma and repair my digital camera. Got a meeting at Cityhall with Ivan and Judith at 6.30pm. All these are only confirm today. 1 hour after I woke up.

Alright. I think should stop whining. Reaching Orchard soon.

11.59pm

On the bus home. Met Sahf at Centerpoint just now, to pass him the other 2 documents for Adeline and him to sign. We hang out with Wei Qi and Elyn for a while, as they happened to be at Plaza Singapura. Went to meet Judith at Raffles City. We went to Marina Square for sushi and Ivan was late. Talked and Judith brought up something while we were waiting for a table and Ivan. She told me that I should set up my own events company. "Haha!" I told her I have plans already. We discuss more on this subject. And when Ivan came, we had dinner and talked more about Tampines East CC stuff. Both agreed on me starting my own company.

Sometimes I feel that I said certain stuff just to prove that I know what I am saying. But I feel that others might misunderstand it as boasting. *wonders* Suddenly feeling emotional, again... "Haha!" And my handphone's batt keep going low everytime. Think I need to bring it for a check up. Good Night Singapore.

February 28th, 2006.

4.41pm

Currently sitting and slacking in TCC, Shaws. All 4 of us, Pamela, Jo, Yee Ping and me are slacking and browsing either newspapers or magazine. I bought FHM and Maxim. Pamela is now reading through FHM. She just commented on FHM's GND (Girl Next Door) 2006. "Haha!" I think some of them are ok, or even pretty but they are the minority. I support GND no. 16 and 90! Yee Ping looks bored. And Jo is very solemn. *wonders*

Today's Pan Pacific visit tighten up some details and my decorations committee had a rough idea of what they want to do for decorations. Kazumi just called and said that the skeleton is done and will share it with us during the chalet. Ya! Dinner and Dance Chalet next week. Tuesday till Thursday. Lots of fun awaiting. And I hope it will not be too late to iron out the details. "Haha!" I really should entertain the girls...

11.32pm

On the train home. Just watched the "Final Destination 3". The plot is the same as the previous FDs. And it is as gruesome as well. Throughout the whole movie, although I shut my eyes on a number of times, I did finish watching most of the movie through my fingers. "Haha!" Come and think about it, after finish watching the movie, I think it was ok. Similar plot, just different ways of die-ing. One lesson that I learned from all these is, do not litter. It might case your death.

Actually most of my thoughts today are on my Dinner and Dance. Hope everything can go smoothly and things get done. There are still tones of things yet to be done. And now it is going into the critical stage. Details that need to be ironed out, plans and designs that need to be reviewed and confirmed, money that need to be spent, opinions that need to be consulted, approvals that need to get approved, things that need to be printed and lots of other things. There is little margin for error. I am still feeling quite optimistic about this whole event. I hope this Dinner and Dance can be successful. *fingers crossed* If yes, it will be my best TP graduating gift (maybe not graduating yet, but it will be my last major event).

Reaching Tampines in 2 in 5 minutes time. Hope I am in time to watch my cartoon. "Haha!" And I think this is the shortest entry yet. So I will be seeing you tomorrow Singapore. Good Night. Liangteh Out! :)
